Jonathan Lethem explains to Salon why copyright laws stifle creativity and why he’s giving away the film option to his new novel. Lethem continues to be an outspoken critic of the publishing world and, in my opinion, one of the only contemporary writers who gets it. Too bad his actual fiction isn’t better, but oh well you can’t have it all I guess.
