Awesome collection of 21 Crockett almanacs, all in original pictorial wraps and profusely illustrated about to go on the auction block. These are in fact the ghost written texts from which we get our legend of Davy Crockett (which naturally bears almost no resemblance to the historical figure, but that’s beside the point). This is the first time in decades a collection this large has been on the market and as you might have guessed it’s way way out of my price range. Still nice to look at though.
