As with Faulkner, I find it shocking that I was given an undergraduate degree in English without having read Borges. That simply should not be allowed. Everything I was expecting and so much more. If, like me, you know Borges through his myth rather than his words, this is a fine place to start. And rest assured, the myths are nothing next to the real thing. more »
