We don't usually do fancy dinners, but it's good to bust out every now and then -- herbed cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato and spinach stuffed in crepes with a bean salad and fresh bread.

I've always wanted a picnic table and now I have one. It's warming up so it's nice to eat outside.

Crazy windstorm this weekend -- tornados all over the South. This limb came down right where Corrinne's car normally is. Luckily we were over at a friend's house.

F the laptop, this is where the valuable stuff goes. Guaranteed not to crash.

Annie is not what you would call a morning dog. It's more or less impossible to get her off the couch before noon. Every morning I sit down on the couch around 7 to start work and this is the look I get shortly before she turns around and lies back down to sleep for another four or five hours. And what's up with that bizarre dog lotus pose? Annie you are strange creature.

Finally got around to processing some HDR images I shot in Nicaragua. No tripod, which is why there's some slight blurring in places, but it's good enough for me.

Last week someone stole a planter off our front porch. For some reason I find this very disturbing. The porch is now lopsided. And what's more the thing must have weighed 40+ lbs, it's 1.5 inch concrete and filled with wet soil -- who steals that? Frat kids that's who. Initiation pranks or something. I told the cop (had to call, not my pots, not paying for the loss), if you find it and it's a white kid under 22 I'll press charges, otherwise just get my flowers back. Naturally I've never heard from the cops, they have better things to do than look for flower pots. However I did enlist the mailman (who has access to everyone's porch) in the search. So far nothing. Karma will find you my little planter thief.

So I'm getting married. And we're going to do a low key ceremony and party thing in this yard. As you can see the grass is currently about four feet high. We have less than two months until the wedding. Anyone got a weed wacker?
