I've been thinking a lot lately about Will Self's concept of 'Psychogeography' and the notion that our relationship to places changes when, for instance, we walk instead of drive, or, in this case, look at a building from the top of the parking deck instead of the street-side view we're accustomed to, and how that changing relationship affects our perceptions of a place. More on that a bit later, but if you're interested World Hum has a nice interview with Self's about his new book.
